The CENTRINUM Altstadt-Hotel - When half-timbered charm meets modernity
The setting could hardly be more picturesque: The CENTRINUM Altstadt-Hotel is located in the heart of Melsungen's old town, not far from the Fulda, in harmony with the rustic flair of the half-timbered houses. In 2006, a listed building ensemble was carefully converted into a hotel and extended in 2010. The second extension took place in 2024. The result is an exciting transition in which the charming architectural combination of tradition and modernity is visible everywhere.
Take a look at the CENTRINUM Altstadt-Hotel from different angles and let the sometimes surprising colour designs by Kassel artist Werner Krömeke take effect on you. Special care has been taken in the furnishing of the 27 rooms with a total of 51 beds, including two flats. Apart from the oak floorboards, no two rooms are the same.
Their charm arises from the harmony of modern design, stylish furnishings and historical room characteristics. The rooms on the upper floors can also be easily reached by lifts, one of which is made entirely of glass.
